The organisms that have the ability to live within 1 drop of sea water and the microscopic algae provide for over 50% of the world’s oxygen.  In this single drop there are also over 200,000 cells, which leads scientists to believe there are more individual organisms in the oceans than there are stars in the universe  To further this analogy: what humans are doing to the oceans (fishing, drilling, polluting, etc) is equivalent to the destruction of galaxies.  I like this.
